Dear Running with Ed and PCEF Community:
We hope you are healthy and safe.
Thank you for making Running with Ed one of Park City’s most beloved events. Today, we are reaching out during this unprecedented global crisis to let you know we are following CDC guidelines and cancelling this year’s Running with Ed race on May 16th.
Cancelling Running with Ed means our school community is losing $280,000 in funding. But we know our community, as it always does, will rise up to ensure the success of every teacher and student.
PCEF’s support of students and teachers will not waver. With your help, we will remain adaptive, responsive, and nimble to meet our students and teachers immediate, short-term and long-term needs.
We are raising money to expand PCEF’s Express Grant Fund by $50,000 in order to support immediate teacher and student at-home schooling needs. This fund will be available to provide:
Because of you, we have worked hand in hand with our teachers for 32 years. YOU can ensure PCEF emergency support for teachers and students will continue.
In times of financial uncertainty, any and all help is welcome.
If you have already registered for the race, please click here for more information.
PS: We are grateful to our RWE sponsors who are still supporting students and teachers, even without an actual race! Please join them in supporting Park City’s teachers and students.
Thank you also to these businesses who are still supplying fundraising prizes: Ritual Chocolate, Salomon Shoes, Westgate Park City
Thank you! Your message was posted to Facebook.
